I have been working as a lead scenic artist for over ten years for multiple theater production companies in the Bay Area. I've painted scenery for theater, dance, and opera for venues such as Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek, and the California Theater in San Jose. My technical theater experience extends beyond scenic art; fabrication skills are also a part of my craft.  Pictured above is a project I worked on as lead scenic as well as co-fabricator. This massive sculpture was built for Tarzan, a production by CCMT and performed at the Lesher Center in 2013 (designed by Kelly Tighe). I was on the project from start to finish, beginning with a massive 20' tall free-standing skeleton, made of welded steel, and finished with massive poly foam skins around the entire structure.
